Answer:

351.68 cubic feet (round it to the nearest tenth)

Step-by-step explanation:

As it says in the directions, Container B was empty and container A was full. All of the liquid volumes were poured into Container B from Container A. All we need to do is find the volume of Container A's water to find the answer.

3.14(π) x 4(radius) x 4(radius squared) x 7(hieght) =

3.14 x 4^2 x 7 = 351.68

Willie is earning an annual salary of $24,895. He has been offered an accounting job that will pay him, at a num, $28,000 per ye
VikaD [51]

Answer:

$258.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Willie was being paid $24,895 per year, and he will get $28,000, let's find the difference.

$28,000 - $24,895 = $3,105       So he will be making $3,105 mor per year. THere are 12 months in a year so we need to divid our answer by 12.

$3,105/12 = $258.75

He will make $258.75 more per month if he takes the new job.

What is 4589215 rounded to the nearest thousand place
Musya8 [376]

The answer is 4589000.

And the reason, is:

The thousands place is the number 9, so you look at the number next to it on the right side, which is the number 2. Is 2 above 5, or over five? Its below five. So since its below five, the nine will stay as a nine but the rest of the numbers on the right side of the nine will become 0's. But if it was a 5 or above, the nine would become a 10. But you cant say 45810000, so you'd have to change the 8 to a 9.

Hope this helps :)

Simplify the following expression.<br><br>A.49<br>B.1/14<br>C.1/49<br>D.14
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the rules of exponents

• a^{m} × a^{n} ⇔ a^{(m+n)}

• a^{-m} ⇔ \frac{1}{a^{m} }

Hence

7^{-5/6-7/6} = 7^{-\frac{12}{6} } = 7^{-2}, then

7^{-2} = \frac{1}{7^{2} } = \frac{1}{49} → C

I'm having a bit of trouble finding out how to find the Domain of this function. Help please!
BabaBlast [244]

In general, the domain is the set of all x-values for the graph.

The issue here is that this isn't the graph of a function.  A function has at most one y-value for each x-value and this graph has an infinite number of y-values for the single x-value of 1.

So, either your teacher is wanting you to say the domain is {1}, because that's the only x-value used by the graph, or they're wanting you to say this is a trick question, because this isn't the graph of a function.

The range is the set of all y-values, which is -9<y<9, but again, do they intend this to be a trick question?
