Biodiversity is high because the warm and wet consistent climate in tropical rainforests is able to sustain life in all different forms. Soil nutrient is poor in tropical rain forests because the sunlight that is intended to reach the floor of the tropical forest is blocked by the tall and dense trees.
There are a number of reasons for biodiversity in the tropical rainforest including: the hot and wet climate provides ideal conditions for many species of plants and animals to thrive. nutrients are rapidly recycled speeding up plant growth, providing producers with food, which in turn are consumed by primary consumers.
