Please can someone do my homework !! I don’t understand anything
ycow [4]

Answer:

<em>The Inferno </em>by Dante Alighieri is the first book in the extravagant trilogy of <em>The Divine Comedy. </em>This renowned and thrilling series shares Dante's extraordinary and creative imaginations through a poetic perspective. <em>The Inferno</em> begins Dante's death-defying journey as he strolls through the woods, overwhelmed with darkness when he finds a mountain that he could climb, in order to escape the clutches of this unceasing darkness. Discovering that his path is blocked by a she-wolf, a lion, and a leopard, he is forced to retreat back to the woods and meets the spirit of Virgil, a poet that was sent by Dante's deceased lover, Beatrice, to escort Dante to the peak of the mountain. Yet, Virgil explains that the only way to reach their destination, is to enter and endure the fiery pits of Hell and reach the gates of Heaven, where Beatrice awaits. This novel is exquisitely and artistically written, touching upon a plethora of subjects including judgement, remission, Greek mythology, and accompanied with spine-chilling moments that may leave you at the edge of your seat. It will definitely change the way you perceive life and guide you to realize that your harmful intentions can cause consequences.

At the beginning of the 8th paragraph, Mrs. Mallard senses “something coming to her.” What is it? What effect physically does it
Greeley [361]

Explanation:

<u>"The Story of an Hour," is a short story written by Kate Chopin (1894).</u>

This story is about a woman Mrs. Mallard who found out that her husband is dead. She was sad at first, but then she felt happy. She didn't fear the death of her husband, but she was filled with glee and joy. Later, she found out her husband is alive, and she died from heart disease.

As for your questions:

What is it?

<u>At the beginning of the 8th paragraph, Mrs. Mallard senses </u><em><u>“something coming to her.”</u></em><u> This something was freedom - </u><em><u>"She said it over and over under the breath: "free, free, free!"</u></em>

What effect physically does it have on her?

Mrs. Mallard felt she was free from her husband, she enjoyed the imagining herself in control of her life; it was her reaction after being freed from marriage. But when she found out that her husband is alive, her heart could not stand it. Mrs. Mallard had a sense of freedom for an hour, but that was taken away from her, her heart was unable to lose freedom again, and she died.

I hope it helped you :)
