Why did Andrew Jackson describe the election of 1824 as a "corrupt bargain"?
Vadim26 [7]
Andrew jackson describe the election of 1824 as a corrupt bargain because he thought south carolina voted for John Quincy adams in order to make it easier to Secede.
Back then, John Quincy simply doesn't have enough vote to be considered as the winning candidate, making the credibility of the election really questionable

hope this helps
