Instruction: Discern the positive and negative messages conveyed in the text read. Corruption in the government. The people are

charged with taxes but we end up having inefficient implementation of road and traffic rules, lack of a flood control system, and "road constructions" (They destroy some roads then immediately "fix" it, as a tactic for kickback). Even if, let's say, we have a good president, it would still be difficult for him to implement good governance practices nationwide because the rest of the politicians would not support something that has nothing in it for them. This problem is passed from generation to generation, more so considering the fact that the strongest politicians form dynasties. The problems in the government, collectively, is the primary reason for the rest of the problems. Excerpt from the article "What are the problems facing the Philippines?" From http://www.quor.com

Does bede do a good job answering readers questions about England
choli [55]

The correct answer is no, his ideas were incomplete, and do not answer things that we wonder about . However, it is the best writing of that period that we have. He never left the area in which he lived in England so had a reasonable, but limited idea of life there. The majority of British people in Bede’s times were illiterate, monasteries such as the one to which Bede belonged were dedicated to continuing a tradition of learning. Using these sources, he was able to write his history of Britain.

Recognizing that the audience for his graduation speech would be packedinto a non-air-conditioned gymnasium during the hottest w
Assoli18 [71]

Answer:

D). Situation.

Explanation:

Adaptability is one of the most crucial factor in a speech communication process as the speaker is required to be flexible and versatile enough to adapt to the various elements like message, location, feedback, or situation, etc. during the speech in order to leave an impact on the audience and elicit intended response.

In the given situation, Kane is attempting to adapt to the 'situation' as he analyzes that the audience would not be able to pay attention to his speech for a very long time due to the discomfort they would suffer in a non-air-conditioned room and as per the demand of the situation, he restricts the time-limit of his speech and decides to convey his ideas briefly and precisely in that very limited time to create the desired impact. Therefore, option D is the correct answer.
