For the French side the slavery started his ending process in 1794 Napoleon revoked this decree in 1802 and finally in 1848 they re-abolish slavery in each one of their colonies. From the english side in 1807 the english parlament abolish the slave trade in the British Empire. Finally the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833 put a gradual end to the slavery in the caribbean.
