A Day in the country is a story by Anton Chekhov that tells the life of most of the people who work as farmers and hunters. At the beginning of the story, they found that the weather conditions in the country were in bad weather, that is, a big storm was coming to their country. While they were in a problem, one of the children in the country had an accident, his hand was stuck in a tree hole. One of the children who reported it to his uncle that morning immediately rushed to help his friend. Not finished helping out the child's hand, the rain began to fall. The child starts to get scared because of the rain that is accompanied by the wind and lightning. The uncle tried to calm and help save the child whose hand was stuck in the tree. Many stories happened all day on that day.

Further Explanation

 • Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) was a prolific Russian writer and playwright.
 • Chekhov explored many themes in his work, including poverty, tragedy, bureaucracy, and the daily lives of Russian slaves and peasants.
 • Anton Chekhov was born in rural Russia from parents of grocery store owners and tailor assistants.
 • He hated working hours long and heavy when he had to work in his father's grocery store when Chekhov was a child. The work that was too heavy made it difficult for Anton Chekhov at school.
 • Most critics agree that Chekhov's best works include Uncle Vanya (1900), Three Sisters (1901), and The Cherry Orchard (1904).
 • Chekhov's drama reflects major changes in Russian society. The work was intended to be a dark comedy, although many theaters produced it as a tragedy, a reflection of the miserable and meaningless life of various characters.
 • While Anton Chekhov is best remembered for his three main drama scripts, he also wrote many short stories and sketches.

Sonja [21]

Answer:

It illustrates internal dialogue.

Explanation:

In graphic novels, the thought bubble is used to show internal dialogue. The term that is more widely used is internal monologue. In literature, a dialogue is a conversation between two or more characters, and a monologue is a speech presented by one character in order to show their thoughts. When those thoughts remain inside a character's head, we have an internal monologue/dialogue. In graphic novels, we can get insight into those thoughts thanks to thought bubbles.

Serga [27]

We can actually infer the following from the given statement from the essay 'Progress in Play: Board Games and the Meaning of History' by Alex Andriesse, "depicts a martial female figure holding a Union Jack shield": A symbolization of something that looked like a martial female figure armed.

What is inference?

Inference actually refers to the conclusion that one makes after observations and evaluations have been carried out.
