Answer:

The Chinese Exclusion act was passed in 1882 the act stated that all immigration from China was to stop entirely due to too much immigration. This was to last for ten years only the law also required Chinese immigrants to carry paperwork proving they were U.S. citizens. How this act was passed  was by congress who were responding to workers concerns of losing jobs to these immigrants. Iteru [2.4K]

The poems "From the Dark Tower" and "A Black Man Talks Of Reaping" are heart- touching poems.

Explanation:

These poems are written by Countee Cullen and Arna Bontemps. These poets explain about the feelings of black people and their resentment towards the society.

The poets explain about how the black people in America are slaved and now its time that they have had enough. They will soon start a revolution to fight against this oppression. Please help ASAP! Thank you :)
OLEGan [10]
Hello!

I believe the correct answers for this question would be: A. How to dance Gracefully, and D. How the baby sleeps with all the noise. Here is how they would all look:

How to dance gracefully is a mystery.
Where driving is a mystery.
Under the sun is a mystery.
How the baby sleeps with all the noise is a mystery.

So, judging by these sentences, I feel those two would only be the appropriate choice.

I really hope this helped you out! :)

Choose the correct statement: Median is not unique C Median is not affected by extreme values O Median is a calculated average M
serg [7]

The correct answer is: "Median is not affected by extreme values".

The median is the value located in the middle position of the sample, at the same distance for the upper and lower values. For instance, in this dataset  {1, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13}, the median is 8, in the fourth possition from the left and from the right.

It is usually compared with the mean. The main difference is that the mean is affected by outliers but the median is not. In the example used above, if substituting the value 13 for 100, the median would still be 8, as it would continue being in the fourth position from both sides.

On the other hand, the mean in the original dataset is 7.57, while after the modification it increases to 20.
