My philosophy of education is derived from my personal experiences. I have been an educator for 4 years, and I have learned a lot from more experienced teachers in my district. I also work mainly with students from a low socioeconomic background; my background was quite different. I will discuss how all of these elements, along with scholarly texts, have impacted my educational philosophy. I think thats it

Answer:

A prose composition is also called ordinary writing. Unlike poetry, it does not show any concern over metrics and rhymes. The themes or topics can be fiction or non-fiction. An original composition is below:

Explanation:

I sat down, exhausted, at the edge of the cliff and looked ahead. There was no going back now. The world I knew had been destroyed, taken over by strangers, people from a far and foreign land who wanted to impose their culture; they said we'd die and be sent to a burning place if we didn't convert to their beliefs. When my father made the decision to run away, however, he allowed us to choose. Would we rather stay? He wouldn't force us to leave with him. Unlike those strangers, my father knew respect. He would never make anyone follow him by means of strength. He'd die before he'd do that. He'd also die before he'd let anyone do that to him.

When I felt my legs would no longer give in, I got up and began to make fire. It was going to be a long, cold night in the woods.

Explain how verbal and nonverbal cues can give different messages. Provide specific examples to illustrate your points.
ra1l [238]
Here is an example of how the two can be used differently..

If someone is talking to much and cutting you off in conversation you could tell them to stop. This would be a verbal cue.
A nonverbal cue would be if you seemed uninterested in the conversation and continued giving them weird looks or ignored them.

Does the sentence state a fact or an opinion? Of Japan's four main islands, Hokkaido is too often overlooked by tourists.
nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

The sentence regarding tourists overlooking Hokkaido states a fact if the speaker has looked up the number of tourists and knows for sure that the other islands receive more visitors. However, from sources I have checked, it is Shikoku that is the least visited of the 4 major islands so this complicates the question response.

Explanation:

The sentence regarding the number of tourists who visit Hokkaido compared to the other Japanese islands is likely stating a fact because it is assumed the speaker has looked this up or has some experience with tourism to know that the other islands do receive more visitors. To make it an opinion, the sentence would say something like "To me, it is unfortunate that so many tourists miss the opportunity to visit Hokkaido." This is an opinion because others might think it is OK to skip a trip to Hokkaido if for some reason it is more costly or inaccessible, for example. However, the sentence appears to express some level of opinion because Hokkaido is, in fact, a popular tourist destination for hiking and scenic views, especially among domestic tourists.

What is the most compelling claim that the author makes in the first paragraph about the cultural conflict in values illustrated
Alik [6]
The conflict is that Singapore’s leader defended Michael Fay, a man who had done vandalism. It supports the author’s argument because he is not being accountable for committing a which is not okay. The law should be enforced fairly.

Hope this helps!
