Jackson, in fact, provoked a revolution in the country, however, his ideas and goals cannot be generalized as positive and beneficial for the progress of humanity, since many of his policies, wished to keep the population with low economic, social and political. Jackson was a populist and designed a progressive policy that challenged existing democratic concepts, he maintained his commitment to meet the wishes of the majority, but often, the majority did not represent the social necessity, making many of his policies have results unwanted.
