Answer: Mary because: Sheen thought that it is very likely that it was one of Mary's relatives who was being married. This would mean Mary and her relatives would be embarrassed if they appeared inhospitable by running out of wine, giving Mary a reason to ask Jesus to intervene.

Why did Americans try to create a republic in which the states have more power than the central government
77julia77 [94]
The founding fathers wanted a democracy like the Greeks. The founding fathers were also inspired by the Romans ( that’s why we have a president, senate, etc.). To get to the point it’s because they didn’t want the government to be powerful over the people. This is why we have a 2nd amendment. People don’t know this but the 2nd amendment is so we can make a militia if the government became tyrannical. People also don’t like free speech which is an important amendment that has gotten us far. Taking these amendments away is actually now giving power to the government.

I would say 1. The light bulb because candles were far more of a fire hazard and a lot less light 2. Electric heater because again a lot less of a fire hazard and less prep work 3.electric refrigerator because you could safely store food for a long time with out spoil and or deep freezer for the same reason. Edit: some of this you might want to reword.
