Please help with Part A and Part B
svp [43]
Part A:
The area of the rectangle will be the length times the width, so 4•(x+3). Using distributive property, you'll multiply every term inside the parentheses by 4.

The area of the rectangle can be expressed by 4x+12.

Part B:
Multiply 4•2 and (x+3)•2, then multiply them together.

8(2x+6) Now use distributive property to find your answer simplified.

16x+48 is your answer

70 coins of 10 paise and 50 paise are kept in a purse. if the total value of the money in the purse is Rs 19 . find the no. of e
Allushta [10]

Answer:

10=40

50=30

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose the number of 10 paise coins =x

∴ the number of 50 paise coins =70−x

Now, value of 10 paise coins = Rs.

10 x  and value of 50 paise coins = Rs.   2 70−x

Total value of coins =   10 x +  2 70−x

∴  10 x  +  2 70−x  =19

Multiplying both sides by 10, (LCM of 10,2=10), we get

x+5(70−x)=19×10

x+350−5x=190

−4x=−160

−4 −4x  =  −4 −160

∴x=40

∴ number of 10 paise coins =40

Number of 50 paise coins =70−40=30.
