The sun reflected off of the tall buildings, off of the blue ocean, making it shimmer as the waves bounced lazily off of the sand. Dozens of alarm clocks went off, waking people, informing them that work was soon, and traffic slowly picked up, Starbucks flipped to <em>open, </em>and the occasional honk went off in downtown Miami. Early rising high schoolers hit the beach, running or getting morning surfing in. Walkers walking up and down the streets, tired, but ready to begin a long day.
It was funny to Ponyboy that although the Greasers and the Socs are so different, they are also alike. Both of the differnt groups of people are still people. They watch the same sunsets and they breathe the same air. Althought each group struggle with different issues, in the end, they are both people and they both desire some kind of fulfillment.
Then suddenly the singer threw up his face, straightened his tubby figure, rose upon his tiptoes, and with wagging head and scarlet cheeks emitted such a howl as the same dog might have given had his growl been checked by a kick from his master.This part shows that the author mock the simge as he depiCts him like a dog.The clue here is wagging/howling just like a dog
