Answer:

A: In the United States, people tend to see contractionary government actions with better eyes, because with these actions they decrease the amount of money held by the government and put more of it in the hands of citizens.

Explanation:

One thing that Americans have always been interested in, and it was a founding base since the nation was born, is the desire to restrain the power of the government and its control on all aspects of social life. This is why Feudalism has never been contested as the system of government. One issue on which Americans have always been clear, is that the less intervention from the government in aspects of their lives, the better it is, and this includes government actions that would require citizens to pay even more money and that would take away their individual right to self-govern. A big example of this when the whole debate arose with the implementation of the Obamacare program; even though it meant an improvement in general healthcare, many Americans saw this as an intrusion on the part of the American government, an overstep on things that Americans did not want to be controlled on, and people did not want to pay for the program or support it. That´s why the correct answer is the first one.

The Preamble to the United States Constitution, beginning with the words We the People, is a brief introductory statement of the Constitution's fundamental purposes and guiding principles. Courts have referred to it as reliable evidence of the Founding Fathers' intentions regarding the Constitution's meaning and what they hoped the Constitution would achieve.
