Answer:

Photosynthesis happens in green plants likely it also happens in the specialized bacteria Candidatus Atelocyanobacterium thalassa (UCYN-A) cyano bacterium which is widespread in the oceans and important in the marine cycle. It utilizes light energy, carbon dioxide and water which happens in the thylakoid helps generate ATP.

UCYN-A helps in the N2 fixation in the surface waters of the ocean. In North Atlantic due to the symbiosis happened N2 fixation has happened. It contributes aprroximately about 20% to N2 fixation. It is really very important for the symbiosis the metabolic process to produces ATP.

Once amylase has broken down starch, can it break down another starch molecule?
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

Yes, amylase can be reused, and when fulfills its catalytic function, it is free to catalyze the breakdown of another starch molecule.

Explanation:

Amylase is an enzyme capable of catalyzing the breakdown of starch bonds, separating it into glucose molecules.

The enzymes, including amylase, have the property of being free and without structural alteration when catalyzing a reaction, to bind to the specific substrate and catalyze a new reaction.

Amylase is not consumed, unlike a reagent, so it can be reused in new reactions.
