Mercantile system is the <span>economic </span>system of trade used from the 16th to 18th. According its theory <span>the amount of wealth in the world was static.</span> The British Mercantile system was one of the most famous mercantile system. The motivation was England to to<span> grow in wealth and self-sufficiency, increased political power, increased private wealth. The main motivation however was England to be the first trade power and other countries to be excluded. </span>
