I don't know if this is for the Eros Turannos poem, but if it is here's the answer.

Answer: B. The man may have an attractive face, but he will be no good for her.

Explanation: In the line just before, line 2, it states that she did in fact chose him; in the lines just afterwards, lines 5-8, it suggests what is worse than choosing poorly, as she did, is to be without someone in old age (downward years…of age.) Therefore, there was something initially about his face that both attracted her ("engaging mask") and signaled trouble for her…that he would be no good for her.
