In 1756, the Seven Years' War pitted the relatively tiny population of French colonists against the much greater number of colonists in British-held America. New France ended with France's defeat in the Seven Years' War, and its holdings were handed over to the British in the Treaty of Paris in 1763.
I actually did this in my World History class not too long ago. There was a time when the spread of Judaism to different places from Israel was called Dispora and it was a big time for the spreading of that religion.
These were called Fireside Chats.
There were about 30 or more of these chats broadcasted out via radio about his policies that he wanted the public to hear.
