Answer:

"Dubble" bought 10 rews for $2.00 each and 1 corazs for $8.00 each

-I put quotation marks on Dubble bc i didnt know if it was a boy or girl name sorryyy its.. um.. unique :)          -

Step-by-step explanation:

The price for the rews is 10x 2 because the price of each is $2 and he got 10 so he spent $20 on rews.

Then you subtract the total amount of money "Dubble" used buying these things and the amount of money "Dubble" used on the rews which is 32-20=8

The last step is that you divide 8 by the pice of each corazs which is 8 divided by 8 so the answer is 1.

Hope this helped you sorry im a little late bubs.<3

URGENT!! 25 points. help on C please. this assignment is already late

Answer:

7+(11-4\times 2)=10

Step-by-step explanation:

So, this question involves you to play around with the numbers and the operations a bit. I've come up with a solution, but perhaps there are others as well.

So, we have:

7\text{ } 11\text{ } 4\text{ } 2\text{ } =\text{ } 10

So, what we can do is, for instance, multiply 4 and 2. Subtract that into 11. And then add the difference to 7. Thus:

7+(11-4\times 2)=10

This is a true number sentence. Let's do it to make sure.

First, do the operations inside the parentheses.

Multiplication comes first, so multiply:

7+(11-8)=10

Again, do the parentheses first. Subtract:

7+(3)=10

Now add:

10=10

So our answer is correct :)

Is y=7.5x a proportional relationship and why
DerKrebs [107]
Direct Proportion functions look like this:

y=kx

'k' is the constant of proportionality and in this case its 7.5 or 15/2.

--------------------------------------------

When x=1, y=7.5
When x=2, y=15
When x=3, y=22.5

Therefore y is directly proportional to x.

--------------------------------------

DIRECT PROPORTION EXPLAINED:

Say a football costs £7.50. If you buy one football you'll have to pay out £7.50, but if you you buy two footballs you'll have to pay out £15.00. Therefore the cost of the football(s) is directly proportional to the amount of footballs you buy. C=cost, f=football(s) and C<span>∝f, therefore C=kf, but as k=7.5, C=7.5f.

INVERSE PROPORTION EXPLAINED:

If it were to take 8 hours for one bricklayer to set up a wall, how long would it take for two bricklayers to set up a wall? The answer in this case would be 4 hours.

T=time to set up a wall
b=bricklayer(s)

Therefore T</span><span>∝1/b, and T=k/b. In this case k=8 so T=8/b.

When b=1, T=8.
When b=2, T=4.

We'd say that the time it would take for bricklayers to set up a wall would be inversely proportional to the amount of bricklayers available.</span>

Solve the equation
motikmotik

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{1}{2} (2x + 2) - \frac{1}{4} (3x - 1) = 15

multiply through by 4 ( the LCM of 2 and 4 ) to clear the fractions

2(2x + 2) - (3x - 1) = 60 ← distribute parenthesis and simplify left side

4x + 4 - 3x + 1 = 60

x + 5 = 60 ( subtract 5 from both sides )

x = 55
