The words that have a negative connotation are the following ones: abuses, usurpations and despotism.

The dictionary Merriam Webster defines "abuse" as "a corrupt practice or custom". As regards "usurpation", the dictionary states that it means "to seize and hold (office, place, functions, powers) in possession by force or without right. Finally, "despotism" means "an oppressive absolute power and exerted by government".
