Can someone help me with this please? Thank you!
Finger [1]

Answer:

528 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

First I would calculate the area of the side rectangles:

20 x 9 = 180 cm²

There are two identical rectangles on both sides so i would x2

180 x 2 = 360 cm²

The area of the middle rectangle:

6 x 20 = 120 cm²

The area of the triangles:

Area of a triangle = (Base x Height)/2

8 x 6 = 48

48 ÷ 2 = 24

There are two identical triangles on the bottom and the top so x2

24 x 2 = 48

Now add all the values up:

360 + 120 + 48 = 528 cm²

I hope this helps!

Find the exact area of an equilateral triangle if the length of one side is 40
VARVARA [1.3K]
Equilateral triangle is a triangle with the 3 sides of the same length, and the 3 angles with the same measures/degree.
The formula to find the area of a triangle is base x height/2 , you do have the base (40), but you need the height. To find the height of an equilateral triangle you use the formula: side/2 x radical3, this way u'll find the height and therefor can calculate the area of the triangle.
Hope that helped :)

El interior de un tanque que contiene agua, tiene una presión manométrica de 300 kPa. ¿Qué profundidad tiene el tanque de agua?
zmey [24]

Respuesta:

30,6 metros

Explicación paso a paso:

Dado :

Presión = 300 Kpa

Usando la fórmula que relaciona la presión y la profundidad:

Presión = profundidad * aceleración debida a la gravedad * densidad del agua

Densidad del agua = 1000 kg / m³

Presión = 300Kpa = 300 * 10 ^ 3 Pa

300 * 10 ^ 3 Pa = profundidad * 9,8 * 1000

300000 = profundidad * 9800

Profundidad = 300000/9800

Profundidad = 30,612

Profundidad = 30,6 m
