The Cold Wars between USA & USSR was caused as a result of their differences in ideologies. USA was completely against counties having a communist system while USSR was in support of it which is what caused the Cold War between the two countries.

Pakistan was also known to be with the USA in being against the spread of communism while India was with the USSR in the support for the spread of communism. This also caused the Cold War between India and Pakistan and it got heated up along the India-Pakistan border over disputed territory in Kashmir.
