Answer: Although by the early 15th century, the caravel had highly admirable qualities, it was still far from ideal. The main reasons it was chosen for the exploration of the African coast were speed and the ability to sail windward. Such ambition also called for changes in the caravel as a ship of discovery.

Explanation:

Its economy, speed, agility, and power made it esteemed as the best sailing vessel of its time. The limited capacity for cargo and crew were their main drawbacks, but did not hinder its success. The exploration done with caravels made the spice trade of the Portuguese and the Spanish possibly.

WHO WON THE WAR OF 1812??<br> and why did they win?
liraira [26]

Answer:

hey! hope this helps love!!

Britain effectively won the War of 1812 by successfully defending its North American colonies. But for the British, the war with America had been a mere sideshow compared to its life-or-death struggle with Napoleon in Europe.

Explanation:

The War of 1812 came to an end largely because the British public had grown tired of the sacrifice and expense of their twenty-year war against France. Now that Napoleon was all but finally defeated, the minor war against the United States in North America lost popular support.

In which case, policy, or situation did the motto “kill the Indian, but save the man” play an important role in western expansio
Tresset [83]
The case was about turning Native Americans into US citizens. Boarding schools were made where they would figuratively "kill the indian", that is they would make him denounce his cultural heritage, and they would "save the man", meaning they would turn him into a "civilized" US citizen.
