This question seems to be incomplete. However, there is enough information to find the right answer.

Answer: Gideon knows that Teddy will soon be grown and become a "master" just like the other whites

Explanation:

“No Witchcraft for Sale,” by Doris Lessing, is the story of a black servant cook, Gideon, his employers, a white South African couple, and their son, Teddy. Although They all seem to have a nice relationship, and Teddy becomes good friends with Teddy, the racial tension grows throughout the story, and Gideon realizes that his employers and even the little boiy are prejudice towards him because of the color of his skin and his cultural background. When, by the end of the story, Gideon tells Teddy that he´ll grow up to have a farm of his own, although it seems like a loving comment, it shows that Gideon has understood that Teddy will become like his parents.

#24 help please thanks :P
konstantin123 [22]

1st : x² -8x - 24 =0

x'= ( 8 + √[(8² - 4 (1)(-24)] / 2  and x" =  ( 8 - √[(8² - 4 (1)(-24)] / 2

x' = (8+√160) / 2 =   (8+√(16x10) / 2 and x = (8+4√10)/2, simplify by 2
x' = 4+2√10, same for x" = 4 -2√10

2nd: Let x be the number of people to invite.
Given: cost of the band $750
           cost of food : x.$2.25
Total cost = $750 + $2.25.x
To find the average you divide the total cost by the number of guest, that is x.
Average = ($750 + $2.25.x)/x
a)- For an average of $2.75
($750 + $2.25.x)/x =2.75 Solve for x and you will find 1500 guests

b)- For an average of $3.25
($750 + $2.25.x)/x =3.25 Solve for x and you will find 750 guests
So:
750<p<1500 (answer number 4)

Which tactics do you think are unethical to use in targeting an audience ? Check any that apply
maxonik [38]
I would say that for example an unethical tactic would be to promote the expanded use of hydrocarbons by expanding pipelines and tanker traffic which can result in oil spills on land and also in the precious oceans.  Another unethical thing from the past was to promote the smoking of cigarettes by making it look 'cool' thus ignoring the potential damage to one's health from lung cancer.
