Answer:

Restate the thesis statement.

Explanation:

A conclusion is the end of an essay, where the writer summarizes the main points and makes a final plea to readers to change their minds or take action. This final plea is referred to as a call to action. In an argumentative essay, the conclusion and call to action are the writer’s last chance to make an impact on the reader. A conclusion is the writer's final chance to change the reader's mind.

Restating the thesis statement, summarizing the argument, and making a call to action is the best way to end on a strong note and make an impression on the reader.

“Violence on television does not lead to violent behavior” is an example of a ___________. a. question of value b. purpose state
kodGreya [7K]

C. thesis statement

A thesis statement will overtly state the main point/argument of a paper.  This is done by manner of creating an assertion that is usually based on your opinion and that is basically a one-sentence summary of your entire paper.  For instance, “Violence on television dos not lead to violent behavior” is an opinionated statement that suggests the paper will contain arguments in support of how violent behavior is not caused by violence on television.  Note that while it is okay for the thesis statement to be answering a question, it should never be a question since, after all, it is a thesis statement, not thesis question.
