Farming affects biodiversity because farming requires space and chemicals. Because farming needs space, it effects in habitat loss of plants and animals that used to live there. Chemicals needed for farming can increase pollution degradation of soil, water, and air.

Characteristics of volcanic plateaus?<br> Pls tell
Stella [2.4K]

Answer: Geomorphic characteristics:

Explanation:

- The high flat surface that defines a plateau can continue for hundreds or even thousands of kilometres.

- In spite of the paucity of roads, one can drive over most of that plateau, where elevations exceed 4,500 metres (about 14,760 feet).

- Plateaus dissected (eroded) by rivers have remarkably uniform maximum elevations, but their surfaces can be interrupted by deep canyons.

- In the case of some regions described as plateaus, the surface is so dissected that one does not see any flat terrain.

Africa is one of the richest continents in terms of mineral and energy resources why is this wealth not resulted in economic pro
jekas [21]
This is for a few reasons. Firstly, Africans don't view themselves as Africans (most of them don't). They view themselves as from x tribe or y country. Because of this, much hostility is shared between groups, and so cooperating to harvest these things wouldn't be the easiest. Secondly, the Scramble for Africa basically ruined most chances Africa had of becoming a power, because the European nations came in & exploited most of the continent. Hope this helps!
