Most water molecular move from x to y decreasing the concentration gradient of sucrose. The solution will always move down the concentration gradient.

This means the water always move from this is more water to where there is less water.

Therefore, water will move from a hypotonic solution to the hypertonic solution.

hope it helps you.

The majority of the protein inside a red blood cell (erythrocyte) is:
gladu [14]

Answer: Hemoglobin

Explanation: Hemoglobin is a protein very rich in iron found in red blood cells and is responsible for the transportation of Oxygen from the lungs to the whole body. Oxygen binds to the hemoglobin in red blood cells and the red pigmentation of blood that is highly oxygenated is due to the hemoglobin content found in RBC's.

A client with suspected human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) has had two positive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) tests.
victus00 [196]

Answer:

Western blot should be performed

Explanation:

Generally ELISA test is sensitive to elevated antibodies levels in the blood. Because HIV infection is characterise with increases in antibodies levels(HIV-antibodies levels)of the body, it is usually the first screening test for HIV,however it  is also sensitive to elevated antibody   from  any other infection apart from HIV. Therefore for confirmation, the procedure is to run a second ELISA test, to determine if the antibody rise was due to HIV or not. If the second test turns positive, then Western blot can be applied.

The Western blot through  secondary and primary antibodies binding , separates the  investigating antibodies, and  identity the specif HIV antibodies present  to give a positive HIV-antibody,  confirming ELISA positive test.

Thus for confirmation of HIV specific antibodies  of the blood; ELISA test followed by Western blot is  ideal

Which describes oxygen content as Earth evolved over time? Oxygen levels sharply declined about 400 million years ago. Oxygen le
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

Oxygen levels stay above 15 percent starting 200 million years ago

Explanation:

Atmospheric oxygen levels are related to the evolution on Earth and changes in geochemical cycles that involve climate variations.

The presence of O 2 and evolution of oxygen gave new opportunities to the life on Earth. Oxygen levels in atmosphere have fluctuated between 15% and 35% of atmospheric volume, since the start of the Cambrian period.

So, form the starting 200 million years ago, oxygen level stay above 15 percent and the correct option is "B".
