I'm assuming you mean the God of Christianity. In the Bible it talks about how god revealed himself and everything around him burned. No one is able to see god with the naked eye because as humans we are imperfect and seeing a god so pure it would simply literally kill us.
If God revealed himself we would all die so we wouldn't have an opinion
