According to research, they migrated from northern Asia through the land bridge between Asia and America about 12,000 years ago.

During their early stay, they were hunters and gatherers. They settled where there is the availability of plants and animals that are consumed for food. Paleo Indian people at this period used stones to make weapons in killing animals.
