The concentration of glucose outside the cell is higher than the concentration of glucose inside the cell, thus there is a concentration gradient. The molecules of glucose move randomly and there is a net movement from outside to the inside, down the concentration gradient.

How many nucleotides <br> are in the gene acc tta ggc cct tca
noname [10]
15

Each one of those letters represents a nucleotide. So to find out how many nucleotides are in the gene, just count them

However, keep in mind that this only represents 1/2 strands that make up DNA. If you are supposed to include the other strand, simply double 15, and there would be 30 nucleotides total. However, only 1 strand is actually required in order for protein synthesis to work, so I think it's just 15.

Dodder is a parasitic plant, which has roots for support and absorption of nutrients from the host plant. Determine what kind of
skad [1K]
The original roots of dodder usually die. As a parasitic plant that cannot produce its own chlorophyll, it breaks away from its root system as the roots has no apparent root cap nor apical meristems. Hence the "root" is not performing its very function of water and nutrient uptake. It then produces haustoria, a root-shaped fungi which penetrates host plant which makes the dodder parasitic.
