Answer:

The first one: One negative impact was that native peoples were forced to work for Europeans against their will.

Explanation:

The other answers include opinionated words ("truly horrible," "worst part of it all," "think it is terrible and heartbreaking), which usually make the sentence less formal; personal pronouns (we), which should not be used in formal essays; and contractions (don't), which also should not be used in formal writing.

The introduction to how Communism affects South, Central, and Southwest Asia?
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

Communism affected all three regions: South, Central, and Southwest Asia. First, Russia had a Revolution, called the Russian Revolution. It turned the monarchy of Russia into a Communist republic. Then, the Cold War started because US did not like Communism, and therefore did not want it to spread.

Then, there was the Chinese Civil War between the people who wanted democracy (who fled to Taiwan to create their own government) and the Communists (the people who were reinforced by the Russians.) In fact, the United States did not interfere with this war, which created major problems.

If the United States was helping the anti-Communists, China would not have become Communist. But, in the end of the war, the results were clear - the Soviets and the North Chinese had won the war.

Then, there was the Vietnamese War. China and Russia were helping North Vietnam, which wanted to become a communist, and the US finally helped South Vietnam. But it was too late. Eventually, the Chinese taught the North Vietnamese how to use guerilla tactics. In the end, the US was out-smarted.

The United States withdrew their troops from Vietnam, which made matters worse. South Vietnam quickly got invaded a few months later, and there were too little US troops to help the combat effort.

Then, there was the Korean War, which was a stalemate and which required a treaty. North Korea wanted communism for the whole country, but South Korea was very powerful, and the US also helped. North Korea was almost finished invading when US and NATO troops arrived. They took back the whole entire Korea and split it.

That is your introduction. I hope it helped!

Prompt: Analyze the political effects of nationalism in the 20th century.
Artemon [7]

Explanation:

During the 19th century till date, nationalism became ome of the most significant political and social forces in history; it is typically listed among the top causes of World War 1. Nationalism, seeks to preserve a nation's culture and is closely linked to patriotism

It is also a sentiment of loyalty toward the nation which is shared by the people. But, like modern students of international relations, they argue that it has been one of the most important forces shaping international politics.

It seems to identify a behavioral entity. It has been an important driver in Independence movements around the world such as the Irish Revolution and Greek Revolution.

It was also a key factor in the establishment of the Confederate States of America, whose stated objective was preservation of the white supremacy. Also in the Holocaust perpetrated by Nazi Germany.

Lastly, nationalism became an important driver of the controversial annexation of Crimea by Russia. Nationalist economic policies have also been cited as a cause of the Opuim Wars between the British Empire and the Qing Dynasty.
