Why are tsunamis usually harmless in open water away from the shoreline?
iragen [17]
This is because I’d deep ocean,tsunami waves may appear only a foot or so high.But as they approach the shoreline and enter shallower water they slow down and begin to grow in energy and height.Since the tops of the waves move faster than the bottoms so it causes them to rise faster.So...if a tsunami is in deep waters it does not really hit the shore and splash around to hurt anyone or anything or any people.It is fine because it’s in the middle of the ocean and not on the shoreline.I hoped I helped even a little bit :3

What is the advantage of timing over a shorter period of time especially after exercising
Arada [10]

Answer:

Exercise is what we do when we are to increase are strength, stamina, and even our breathing. It is considered important, since it helps our body to become physically healthy. Our muscles need Exercise to not loosen its figure or shape. You can actually tell when someone does exercises and to those who not. It also decreases high content of fat inside our body. Fat is normal to be present in the body, but too much of it endangers our health and life if in a serious matter. It is better to have a proper timing to have a cool down to avoid feeling dizzy and lightheaded after an exercise. Stretching is important to give the muscle time to recover and to reduce muscle soreness, relax tensions, accelerate your recovery process to perform better on the next workout or exercise. There are many types of exercise that helps our body produce sweat and burns unnecessary fats. These are:

1. Aerobic

2. Flexibility

3. Strength

4. Balance

Explanation:

1. Aerobic-this exercise includes activities like running and swimming, to help your cardiovascular system to have much more endurance.

2. Flexibility-mostly used in warm-ups, flexibility is about stretching your muscles to the point it will get used to it after some time.

3. Strength-includes weight lifting, it makes the muscles more compact and reduces fat the faster way.

4. Balance- whenever we are standing

in one leg to balancing yourself while standing. Balance exercise is important in stabilizing yourself.

These exercises can go to beginner level to pure athlete type. Which means it isn't a joke to perform one of these. It requires focus and effort for a long period of time. It can be extreme if necessary. But take into mind that doing so much or doing it without rest is pure evil.

Drink to re-hydrate yourself. A warm water will help the arteries to loosen and help in proper blood circulation. Replenishing your body's water supply can increase your flexibility and strength. It is also nice to take a cool shower and change your clothing as well. And munch on a little snack will help you gain the energy you used during Exercise. Be careful to eat the right snack to avoid gaining weight.

The advantage of timing is you allow your

muscles and your body to keep up with your

work-out, your giving it time to fully take in

what you are working on. There is such thing

as overworking your body, which may cause

serious trouble.

Help me with the question
lorasvet [3.4K]
10 images per day. Since it can receive 3 mb per second for 11 hours a day, that’s up to 118,800 megabits it can receive in one day. By multiplying the amount of gigabits in a typical picture (11.2) by the amount of megabits in a gigabit (1024) you get that there’s 11,468.8 megabits in each picture. Lastly, divide the number of megs that the station receives in one day by the amount of megs in a picture, and you get 10 and some change, therefore it can receive up to ten FULL pictures in a day

One fragment of a given integer n can be selected and its digits reversed (replaced with a right to left version of themselves).
andrew11 [14]

Integers are numbers without decimal points. The number could be positive, negative or zero

<h3>How to determine the maximum number from the integer</h3>

The maximum number from integer N can be determined using the following program written in Python, where comments are used to explain each line

#This prompts the user for input

num = input("Number: ")

#This iterates from 0 to 9

kount = [0 for x in range(10)]

# This iterates through the input, and updates the kount variable

for i in range(len(num)):

  kount[int(num[i])] = kount[int(num[i])] + 1

# This next two lines initialize the greatest number

greatestNum = 0

multiplier = 1

# This iterates through the kount array

for i in range(10):

  #The following is repeated while the current element is greater than 0

while kount[i] > 0:

   #This generates the greatest number

greatestNum = greatestNum + ( i * multiplier )

kount[i] = kount[i] - 1

multiplier = multiplier * 10

#This prints the greatest number

print(greatestNum)
