Republic: Is a form of government in which the country is considered a “public matter”, not be private concern or property of the rulers

What differentiates? It’s that republicanism is the advocacy of a republic as a means of government while republic is a state where sovereignty rests with the people of their representatives, rather than with a monarch or emperor; a country with no monarchy
