Answer:

Its bad cuz it distracts kids from their focus and drives their attention to an extraordinary amount of tv time. It also affects the way you behave towards your family and friends, yes I acknowledge the fact that children love Fortnite but it has caused them to also experience mood changes and laziness. As you may or may not have seen, there are now toys being made inspired by the popular game "Fortnite" and many of them are toy guns. Children owning these guns will take a toll on them and effect the different daily things they do, like constantly asking me to play war. Also my brother has it and its like super annoying when he rages, i have payed it before and I just dont see what there is to like lol.

Answer: Fortnite is bad because, kids will rage and break anything, and there parents don't like the game because of that. It's bad because it can be addictive, kids will sneak/steal their parent's credit card to buy stuff (I watched videos on that) and, it can have a huge affect on there everyday life. So, that is why fortnite is bad. It can cause children to be more violent, distracted, and sleep-deprived.

3) When Emily cites Arleen M. Kaptur's article in Today's Caregiver she's relying on what kind of source?
NemiM [27]

In citing Arleen M. Kaptur's articles from the Today's Caregiver, Emily is most likely relying on a secondary source.

A secondary source of information is:

  • Done by someone without firsthand information on a topic
  • Compiled based on a primary source

Arleen Kaptur mentions statistics about how 50% of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients die in 18 months of diagnosis. Arleen could not have gotten this information by themselves because it is usually professional organizations or the government that compiles such medical data.

In conclusion, Arleen's article is based on primary data which means that it is secondary data should Emily use it.
