Answer:

1. He smokes very few cigarettes every day.

2.) She drinks one glass of water every day.

3.) He spends very few evenings at home every week.

4.) She writes about two letters every day.

5.) I drink one cup of coffee every morning.

6.) They can't buy many things, because they have very little money.

Explanation:

Use "very few" when talking about an object that has a different wording for the plural version. Letter and Letters aren't the same, but money is not "moneys" when it is plural, so you would use "very little." Also use "very little" when referring to character traits, such as patience or kindness.

How can you improve your study skills?
zalisa [80]

Answer:

The first step is to get into the right mindset.

Explanation:

Plug your earbuds in to block out any background noise. If music helps you put that on; if music distracts you don't put it on but still plug in your earbuds. Then, delete all of your tabs and open your study material. I've found that working in 10-minute increments works wonders for me! I'll work for 10 minutes, take a 10 minutes break, get back to work for 10 minutes, etc. I've also found that making flashcards, whether online or on paper, is very helpful. I've also found that hitting two stones by translating your notes into a second language you're trying to learn is very helpful in both learning the second language and processing your notes for the subject you're studying for.

Identify a theme of ""Quiet Town"" and explain how it develops over the course of the story. Use at least three pieces of eviden
Minchanka [31]

Answer and Explanation:

One of the main themes presented in the article is the question of who is in charge of our life. This is because the text presents three characters who live their lives in the best possible way, but were surprised by the force of nature, which when rising the sea level threatens to flood the city where they live. This threat completely changes the lives of these characters and it can change their destiny. Hence the question: is the destiny of the human being controlled by himself, by nature or by another element?
