Answer:I think that Abigail Williams is the most despicable character in the novel. She tried to get John Proctor to leave his wife for her. Then after Elizabeth Proctor got rid of her, she started to claim her as a witch to get back at her. She also thought that Proctor would be with her if Elizabeth. Not only did she accuse Elizabeth of being a witch, but she accused nearly every rich women in Salem. This is why i think that Abigail Williams is the most despicable character in the novel
