How can you use geometry figures to solve real world problems
mash [69]
In engineering its got to be used when making buildings and stuff like that. Even when making computers or cars, you got to make parts. Shapes and measurements are huge parts of that. Its also important for model designs. Geometry is used everywhere. Lets say you are trying to figure out the logo sign for a new business you are setting up in town. You are trying to figure out the size, shape, and where to put it on the building. Anything involving creation, such as fashion, technology, engineering, etc., uses geometry as a guide in the process of making something. I don't know if this was the answer you were looking for, but this was my understanding of the question. Hopefully this helps.

400 passengers go on a coach trip.
Afina-wow [57]

Answer: <u>₹759407.56</u>

Step-by-step explanation: Total No. of passengers = 400

1 Coach = 50 passengers

∴Total No. of coaches= 400/50=8 coaches.

Cost for each passenger= £23

∴Total cost for 400 passengers= 400x£23

= £9200 ( 1£=82.5443 ₹) ∴ Total cost for passengers = <u>₹759407.56</u>

Money spent per mile= 70p

∴Money spent for 200 miles= 200x70p=14000p

(1₹=100p) thus, 14000p=<u>₹140</u>

<u><em>Total profit</em></u>= <em>Money from the passengers- Money spent for fuel</em>

∴<u>₹759407.56- ₹140=  ₹7,59,407.56</u>

<u>Actually I am a 9th grader and I have tried this question, so I am not sure for my answer, But I have tried my level best.</u>

PLEASE HELP!!! TIMED QUESTION!!! NOT A TEST NOR QUIZ!!!!
natita [175]

Answer:

LCD=280

Step-by-step explanation:

Equivalent Fractions with the LCD

1/8 = 35/280

2/7 = 80/280

4/5 = 224/280

Solution:

Rewriting input as fractions if necessary:  1/8, 2/7, 4/5

For the denominators (8, 7, 5) the least common multiple (LCM) is 280.

LCM(8, 7, 5)

Therefore, the least common denominator (LCD) is 280.

Calculations to rewrite the original inputs as equivalent fractions with the LCD:

1/8 = 1/8 × 35/35 = 35/280

2/7 = 2/7 × 40/40 = 80/280

4/5 = 4/5 × 56/56 = 224/280

What is 12.95p=44 simplified to its lowest value
goblinko [34]

\huge \boxed{\mathbb{QUESTION} \downarrow}

  • What is 12.95p=44 simplified to its lowest value?

\large \boxed{\mathfrak{Answer \: with \: Explanation} \downarrow}

\sf \: 12.95p = 44

Divide both sides by 12.95.

\sf \: p=\frac{44}{12.95}  \\

Expand 44/12.95 by multiplying both the numerator and denominator by 100.

\sf \: p=\frac{4400}{1295}  \\

Reduce the fraction 4400/1295 to its lowest terms by extracting and cancelling out 5.

\boxed{ \boxed{  \bf p = \frac{880}{259} = 3\frac{103}{259} \approx 3.39}}
