What makes St. Augustine a particularly notable Spanish settlement and is it undisputable?
Tanzania [10]

St. Augustine is the oldest occupied city of the United States. It was found in 1565 by Pedro Menéndez de Avilés. The fort defended the trade route between Spain and its colonies. It would also defend the Spanish-claimed land against invasion.

In 1692 the Queen ordered to build a stronger fort, replacing a wood one with a shell stone one. It was used as a refugee for Loyalists to the Crown during the American revolution, served as a prison during the Indian wars, and was a battle site during the Civil War. And it still stands, so it's pretty much indisputable.

I think morally wrong because it started the nuclear age. Even if the Chinese did wrong to us, they didn’t deserve that. Especially innocent people.

What characteristics did many of the battle sites have in common, revolution war
Zolol [24]

Answer:

The American colonists owed their military successes to the tactics of revolutionary war they used - tactics whose elements were borrowed from the Indians and from the inhabitants of the forefront of the settlements and the border. This tactic is a tactics of loose battle, tactics of the struggle of the armed people - was widely used in the American War of Independence.

On April 9, 1775, not far from Boston, Concord and Lexington experienced the first skirmishes, and the British suffered heavy losses during the fighting. At first, the advantages were on the side of the British, but the rebels soon switched to guerrilla warfare tactics, setting up ambushes and attacks. Near Boston, a “freedom camp” was formed, where armed volunteers flocked.
