How many people died from not following the KAPU system?

History
1 answer:
Anon25 [30]2 years ago
8 0

Answer:

Kapus were strictly enforced. Breaking one, even unintentionally, often meant immediate death,[1] Koʻo kapu. The concept is related to taboo and the tapu or tabu found in other Polynesian cultures. The Hawaiian word kapu is usually translated to English as "forbidden", though it also carries the meanings of "keep out", "no trespassing", "sacred", "consecrated", or "holy".

The opposite of kapu is noa, meaning "common" or "free".

The earliest Civil War skirmishes in northwestern Virginia resulted in:
zysi [14]

The earliest Civil War skirmishes in northwestern Virginia resulted in Virginia becoming the capital city of the Confederacy. Thus, option A is correct.

What is the result of the Civil war?

After four terrible years of Civil war, the United States conquered the Confederate States. When Virginia seceded, the Confederate administration relocated the capital to Richmond and Virginia, the South's second-largest city.

In the end, the rebellious states were readmitted to the Union, and slavery was abolished nationwide. While it is best recognized as the political capital of the South, Richmond evolved as a city throughout the war from an agrarian hamlet to an industrial powerhouse.

Therefore, Richmond profaned in ashes at the end of the Civil war's turbulent four-year era, a metropolis destroyed by war.

Therefore, option A is correct.

(HELP 31 points) 11. How did the rich people see Julius Caesar?
Alchen [17]

Answer: Well, as Caesar got older, his wealth increased exponentially. First when he was a soldier, he was very poor, although he was technically a patrician. Then, he climbed the rungs of the Senate ladder, from quaestor, to aedile, to praetor, and finally he became the consul of Rome. This is also when he became part of the First Triumvirate, along with Crassus and Pompey. Right now, he had gotten very rich, but was also deeply indebted. Then, he became a proconsul and went on to govern three prestigious provinces, Illyricum, Cisalpine Gaul and Transalpine Gaul. He became even more indebted as he raised a few legions at his own personal expense. But, when the Gallic Wars ended, Caesar was probably the richest Roman, due to the massive plunder and slaves he gained from this war. He got even more plunder, after turning Egypt into a client kingdom, defeating and plundering the Kingdom of Pontus, and defeating the Pompeians at Thapsus, Pharsalus and Munda. He gave each Roman soldier 100 talents of silver, and a plot of land in Roman territory, and also every Roman citizen 1 silver talent. This was like 10 years worth of wages. Still, he remained the richest Roman, and Octavian inherited this wealth, without which he would not have won against Mark Antony. Hopes this helps pls pls mark me as brainliest
