The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

Some possible drawbacks or consequences of calling a period of time a Golden Age is that after that civilizations lived a prosperous period in the economy, society, and politics, the civilization was prone to live another period of destabilization, political turmoil, economic shortages, internal rebellion, and even invasions from other nations.

And the reason is this. The civilization lived that golden age due to the hard work of its people, the wisdom of the rulers, and the firm decisions that allowed the surge of those prosperous times.

However, future generations that did nothing to get that golden age just received the benefits of it and did not work as hard as their ancestors to maintain or increase that prosperity. They took things for granted and the risk was that things changed quickly. And most of the time they did.

VashaNatasha [74]

It's not that it is not growing. It is growing very slowly. Like most economies that are dependent on oil revenue, Columbia is really struggling with the world oil price (this is a whole study in itself and you really should develop a firm understanding of what is going on. It isn't oil that's the problem. It's the pricing structure of oil that's the trouble.)

So they need a better price for their oil.

They are doing the same thing that the place where I live is doing (Alberta Canada). They are turning more and more to creating manufacturing income which is not related to oil and agricultural exports. They need keep on encouraging manufacturing.

They need to cut the effects of corruption which the judicial system is also progressing to do.

True [87]

Answer:

Thomas Jefferson had always feared the costs of loose construction of the powers delegated to the national government in the Constitution, and the Constitution was silent about acquiring lands from other countries. Jefferson urged bringing the issue to the people to approve with a constitutional amendment, but Congress disregarded his draft amendments. The Senate ratified the Louisiana Purchase Treaty in October of 1803. While Jefferson did his best to follow what he believed was proper constitutional procedure, not enough of his contemporaries agreed with him and he eventually assented.
