PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
Stolb23 [73]

below

Explanation:

the setting is not disclosed in the giver but it takes place in the future without a past

a quotation from the text would be anything that mentions the past, since the future is hardly refrenced.

jonah is the protagonist in the giver, however it says in your protagonist is delaney, who is struggling to raise her little sisters.

quote “Although she was just 16 years old, Delaney had spent much of them providing for her sisters. She displayed the toughness—and weariness—of someone twice her age” (page 16).

the main conflict is a world without light or past.

the giver seems to be a story written by you, as you will answer the questions.

What does the photograph in that section show about habitat destruction?
tiny-mole [99]

Answer: I believe the answer is B, <u>"Humans destroy habitats by building buildings."</u>

Explanation:

The tree stumps are clues to me that those trees were purposely cut down. And why would humans, as we know of, cut down that many trees in an area at once? To <em>build</em>. This habitat-destroying process is called deforestation. Deforestation has been recognized as the sole reason for the demise of several land environments and their animals for a long time.

Write a paragraph using at least four words from the word bank
levacccp [35]

Answer:

The little boy was always <u>mischievous,</u> even though some thought his antics <u>humorous</u>, they were down right mean. His mother was always too busy providing for them with her three jobs that she was almost never around to teach him that his <u>continuous </u>actions were frowned upon in society. He listened to nobody, and thought himself alone in the world. As the little boy grew older, he was <u>courageous</u> enough to wrestle with an alligator, and <u>jealous</u> enough to almost kill someone in a fight. It was obvious his years of motherly neglect brought him down this path, and at this point in his life, nobody cared enough to pull him back.
