9514 1404 393

Answer:

  41.4

Step-by-step explanation:

The Law of Cosines tells you ...

  a² = b² +c² -2bc·cos(A)

where sides a, b, c are opposite angles A, B, C, respectively. Filling in the given numbers, you have ...

  a² = 30² +26² -2·30·26·cos(95°)

  a² ≈ 1711.96

  a ≈ √1711.96 ≈ 41.38

The length of BC is about 41.4 units.

Cos 30° cos 450 -sin 30° sin
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

The trigonometric Identities Cos 30° cos 45° - sin 30° sin 45° when simplified gives; ((√3) - 1)/2√2

<h3>How to solve Trigonometric Identities?</h3>

We want to solve the trigonometric Identity;

Cos 30° cos 45° - sin 30° sin 45°

We know that the trigonometric values of these in surd form are;

Cos 30° = (√3)/2

cos 45° = 1/√2

sin 30° = 1/2

sin 45 = 1/√2

Thus;

Cos 30° cos 45° - sin 30° sin 45° = ((√3)/2 * 1/√2) - (1/2 * 1/√2)

= ((√3)/2√2) - (1/2√2)

= ((√3) - 1)/2√2

What is the value of x?<br> Please help
Allisa [31]

Step-by-step explanation:

360 = 60 + 4x \\ 360 - 60 = 4x \\ 300 = 4x \\  \frac{300}{4}  =  \frac{4x}{4}  \\ x = 75

The total internal angle of the polygon is 360°. Since there are 4 unknown angles but the same, we would just add all those to 60° to equal a full 360°.

Ok well first of all we need to calculate how many servings one batch of snack mix is, so we need to add the measurements for all the ingredients:

2.5 + 4.5 + 2.25 + 0.75 = 10 cups

Now calculate how many cups we should produce in order to make 200 servings:

0.75*200 = 150 cups

So now we know that we need to produce 150 cups of snack mix and that each batch can make 10 cups, so we can divide 150 by 10 to get to the conclusion that we must make 15 batches. Hopefully that makes sense :)
