What does Martin Luther King think are the disadvantages of acquiescing? Be specific.
sdas [7]

Answer:

The disadvantages of acquiescing as described by Martin Luther King is stated below in the explanation section

Explanation:

According to Martin Luther king, the disadvantages of acquiescing are as follows:

  • The oppressed resign themselves to their faith. they considerately  adjust themselves  to oppression, and therefore becomes a part of it.  in every movement for freedom  some of the people oppressed chooses to remain in oppression.
  • sometimes people deal with oppression is to resort to  corroding hatred and physical violence.Violence often such causes momentary results.  nations have often won their independence through battle, but in spite of these short victories,  violence never brings peace. It does not solve  social problem; it merely produce more and new complicated ones.
  • People's search for freedom is the way of  a resistance of nonviolence. just like the synthesis in Hegelian philosophy, the principle of nonviolent  resistance seeks to restore back the truths of two opposites-acquiescence and nonviolent resister approves with the  person who acquiesces that one should not be aggressive physically  against his opponent; but  he balances the equation by supporting with the person of violence that evil must be stopped.

Serjik [45]

Answer:

The exposition of the story is when we learn about Waverly Place Jong, where she lives, and her relationship with her family.

The rising action is Waverly's progression of learning about the game of Chess and her success in that game, including the win at the tournament.

The climax of this story that tells of the conflict between a Chinese immigrant to America and her daughter comes at the end as, in a dream, Waverley faces her mother in a mystery and magical game of chess and loses.

The falling action is when Waverly decides there is nowhere else to go and she decides to go home.

sesenic [268]
The correct answer should be - the Byronic hero did not always consider himself innocent.
The Byronic hero is different from other Romantic heroes in that he is aware of his own flaws, as well as the flaws of those around him and the society itself. The Byronic hero is very pensive and indecisive about what he is supposed to do, always wanting to run away, but being unable to do so.
