How are the events in the excerpt Night similar to AND different from the poem “First They Came for the Communists”?

English
1 answer:
maw [93]3 years ago
7 0

Answer and Explanation:

A similarity is that both the book and the poem reveal an oppressive situation that happens pogressively, until it reaches the narrator and the speaker.

One difference is that while the speaker of the poem acts indifferently because the oppressive situations were not happening to the group to which he belongs, the narrator of the book acts with fear, because the group of people to whom he belongs is the group that is suffering oppression.

Lemur [1.5K]
The distinct physical aspect is that he is blind, which back then, it was thought that you could see the past and the future.
