The illegal event that constituted the start of the french revolution was when the third estate declared itself
Alborosie
The National Assembly of France.

This was illegal according to the laws of the time, but the 3rd Estate was declaring those laws and rules as a system that opposed the will and well-being of the people of France.

The old laws on the books said that when a gathering of the Estates General occurred, each of the three estates met separately and each group had one collective vote (the consensus of the whole group) as their final vote.  The 1st Estate (clergy) and 2nd Estate (nobility), representing 2% of the population total, would combine their votes in opposition to the vote of the 3rd Estate (the common people).  The 3rd Estate essentially declared that they, 98% of the nation, were the nation and that their delegates thus were the National Assembly.

There's more to the story than that, but we'll keep it brief here for now!

Exclusive jurisdiction definition
Svetach [21]
Exclusive jurisdiction is when only a single court, or a type of court, has jurisdiction over the matter in question. An easy example for this is that the United States District Courts have exclusive jurisdiction in cases of bankruptcy, or that the Supreme Court has exclusive jurisdiction on reviewing other courts' decisions.

1. What words does the author use to describe the powers in the Constitution?
Ierofanga [76]

Hello. You forgot to put the text to which this question refers. The text is:

After listing the numerous powers granted to Congress by the Constitution the author says:

My object is to consider that undefined, unbounded and immense power which is comprised in the following clause: “And to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this constitution in the government of the United States; or in any department or offices thereof.” Under such a clause as this, can anything be said to be reserved and kept back from Congress? ...

In giving such immense, such unlimited powers, was there no necessity of a Bill of Rights, to secure to the people their liberties? Is it not evident that we are left wholly dependent on the wisdom and virtue of the men who shall from time to time be the members of Congress? And who shall be able to say seven years hence, the members of Congress will be wise and good men, or of the contrary character?

Answer:

The author uses the words "undefined", "unbounded" and "immense" to describe the powers of the constitution.

Explanation:

For the author, the constitution is highly powerful, since it has the capacity to possess immense, unlimited and indefinite power. This is a concern for the population of the country, because nothing guarantees that all this relevance will not be used for evil.

The power of the constitution is managed by those who administer it, the congressmen. No one guarantees that the members of the Congress are and will be just and good people, who will use all the power of the constitution for good.

Why do you think Aztec artists carved glyphs on the stone that represented hurricanes?
Alenkasestr [34]

Answer/Explanation: It was generally established that the four symbols included in the Ollin glyph represent the four past suns that the Mexica believed the earth had passed through. One theory is that the face at the center of the stone represents Tonatiuh, the Aztec deity of the sun.
