Answer:

Proving a trigonometric identity refers to showing that the identity is always true, no matter what value of x x x or θ \theta θ is used. Because it has to hold true for all values of x x x, we cannot simply substitute in a few values of x x x to "show" that they are equal.

What number should be added to both sides of the equation to complete the square x^2 + 3x = 6
anygoal [31]

Answer:

+ \frac{9}{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

To complete the square, with the coefficient of the x² term = 1

add ( half the coefficient of the x- term)² to both sides

x² + 3x + (\frac{3}{2})² = 6 + (\frac{3}{2})²

x² + 3x + \frac{9}{4} = 6 + \frac{9}{4}

I have a rectangle that is 2 1/2 feet long and 1 1/3 feet wide. What is the area of the rectangle? Please show work
bezimeni [28]
I cant really attach a picture but this is the answer so you turn 2 1/2 into a improper fraction which is 5/2. then you multiply 11/3*5/2. And that equals 55/6. and then turn it into a whole number and it equals 9.16..
