This testimony turns intensely personal for a few moments before Ellie is able to get a handle on her emotions and direct Coop toward Katie and her treatments. Coop speaks about the dissociative state and how it relates to Katie's case. Coop suggests that the death of the infant from natural causes would be enough to cause Katie to block out the child's death. The prosecution questions Coop and tries to put holes in his case.
