It was time, the experiment Natalie had been waiting to do ever since she had got this job. She was going to experiment of what
would happen to a flower is it was feed helium inside a balloon. Everyone was on their TVs watching this. This was her chance to shine. Everything she needed was prepared by her partner Josie. And so the experiment was on, she put the flower inside the balloon and filled it up with helium. The balloon got bigger and bigger and bigger. Until, it popped. But something seemed off, it wasn’t helium, it was neon. Natalie’s skin started turning white. The live had ended and she was in danger. Everyone tried to open the door to get in but it was jammed. Suddenly, wings started growing out of her back and even more neon came through the air. She fainted, hitting her head against the chair. Natalie woke up and alarms rang her ears. The whole building had been evacuated. She looked down at herself and her whole body was white. It was cold, like really cold. The door to the room was open ajar. She noticed a shadow run past the door. She had to investigate.
