A polygon is any figure sided with three sides and above such that triangle (3) is the smallest polygon. A nonagon is a polygon with 9 sides. To get the sum of interior angles of a polygon we use the formula;
(n-2) 180 or (n-4)90 where n is the number of sides.
Therefore, for a nonagon the sum of interior angles = (9-2) 180 = 1260 degrees
If we add all the angles we should get 1260, considering the remaining angles to be each x
Thus 138+154 +145 +132 +128 +147 +130 + x +x =1260
                             = 974 + 2x = 1260
                             = 2x = 286
                             = 143
 therefore, each of the other angles was 143

Answer:

3) answer is 120     4) 105

Step-by-step explanation

3)     180 - (70+50) = 60

         180-60 = 120 <-- thats the answer

4) 180 - ( 80+25) = 75

     180 -  75 = 105 < thats the answer

Find the sine and cosine of each angle as a fraction and as a decimal. Round to the nearest hundredth.
lawyer [7]

Answer:

<em>1st triangle:</em>

sin(C): 0.64, \frac{16}{25}

cos(C): 0.8, \frac{4}{5}

<em>Second triangle:</em>

sin(C): 0.75, \frac{\sqrt{5} }{3}

cos(C): 0.67, \frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Using SOH CAH TOA, we know that to find the sin of an angle, it's Opposite/Hypotenuse.

To find the cos of an angle, it's adjacent/hypotenuse.

<u>In the 1st triangle:</u>

The adjacent to C is 16, the hypotenuse is 25.

\frac{16}{25} = 0.64 is the sin of C.

The adjacent to C is 20, and the hypotenuse is 25.

\frac{20}{25} = 0.8 is the cos of C.

<u>In the second triangle:</u>

The opposite to C is \sqrt{5} and the hypotenuse is 2.

\frac{\sqrt{5} }{2}  \approx0.75 is the sin of C.

The adjacent to C is 2 and the hypotenuse is 3.

\frac{2}{3} \approx 0.67 is the cos of C.

Hope this helped!

Devaughn's age is three times Sydney's age. The sum of their ages is 88. What is Sydney's age?
Art [367]

Answer:

Sydney = 22 years old

Step-by-step explanation:

DeVaughn = D

Sydney = S

D = 3S

D + S = 88

Substitute in 3S for D

3S + S = 88

4S = 1888

S = 22

Hope this helps :)

Quadrilateral PQRS, with vertex P(-5, -3), undergoes a transformation to form quadrilateral P′Q′R′S′, with P′ at (5, 3). The typ
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

D. 180 degrees about the origin.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's consider what these transformation choices do.

A. Reflection over the X-axis changes the sign of the Y-coordinate. (-5, -3) becomes (-5, 3).

B. Reflection over the Y-axis changes the sign of the X-coordinate. (-5, -3) becomes (5, -3).

Reflection over both axes changes the signs of both X- and Y-coordinates, so (-5, -3) would become (5, 3). That is, one choice for the desired transformation is "A and B".

C. Translation 2 right and 7 up adds (2, 7) to the coordinates, so (-5, -3) becomes (-3, 4).

D. Rotation 180° about the origin changes the signs of both X- and Y-coordinates, so (-5, -3) becomes (5, 3). This is an appropriate single choice for the desired transformation.
