Which section from the text best supports the central idea that the Harlem Renaissance provided African Americans with an opport
gulaghasi [49]

I think that the best choice for this would have to be Paragraph 6, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm not. The reason I think that paragraph is the correct option is because it provides more detail, but what really sold me is the line that says "....and enable African Americans to better integrate into American society as a whole.” That shows that they are given opportunity to show off their works and make a better living for themselves, which is exactly what this question is asking/looking for.

“Artists held the belief that through intellect, literature, art, and music, their work could challenge racism and enable African Americans to better integrate into American society as a whole.” (Paragraph 6)

How does the author of John White and Roanoke develop the idea that establishing a colony at Roanoke was going to be difficult?
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
In the passages, the author gives a few details that develop the idea that establishing a colony at Roanoke was going to be difficult because of the Native Americans. The author says, "not all relations between the colonists and the Native Americans were friendly." He expands on this when he states, "some Native Americans were still angry about the colonists' presence and threatened to do battle." The Native Americans who did not want the English colony at Roanoke made it difficult to establish a colony.
